Hapoel Petah Tikva has made a two-year contract offer to midfielder Ilay Almogei, who is now a free agent after finishing his deal with Bnei Reineh. The first report on the move was published on June 21, 2026, at 17:26.
Almogei, 26, is wanted by the club from Petah Tikva after Reineh were relegated. This season he scored once in 32 appearances, although he actually began the campaign with Ironi Tiberias.
The midfielder came through Hoffenheim’s academy in Germany and was previously loaned to ADO Den Haag in the Netherlands. In Israel, he has also played for Bnei Sakhnin.
Almogei has made five appearances for the senior Israel national team and scored once, against Slovakia in the Nations League. Overall, he has two goals and one assist in 50 Israeli Premier League appearances for Tiberias, Reineh and Sakhnin.
