Noam Cohen Extends Hapoel Petah Tikva Deal Until 2029

Hapoel Petah Tikva announced on Sunday that 17-year-old attacking midfielder Noam Cohen has signed a three-year contract extension, keeping him at the club through the end of the 2028/29 season. Cohen is a youth national team player and spent the past season on the senior squad roster in the Israeli Premier League while also playing for the youth team.

The club said the extension reflects its policy of integrating and promoting homegrown players. In its announcement, Hapoel Petah Tikva described the move as part of its broader plan to develop players from its academy into the first team.

Cohen called the extension “a vote of confidence” and said it was not something to take for granted. He added that the trust he receives from the coaching staff, together with the foundation he gained in the youth department, makes him feel at home and eager to keep improving. He thanked the coaching staff and club management for their faith in him and said he cannot wait to begin another season in blue.
