Noam Cohen extends his Hapoel Petah Tikva contract through 2029
Hapoel Petah Tikva announced on Sunday that 17-year-old attacking midfielder Noam Cohen has signed a three-year extension, keeping him at the club until the end of the 2028/29 season. Cohen is a Youth National Team player and is part of the club’s plans as it prepares for the 2026/27 season.
During the past season in the Premier League, Cohen was included in the senior squad while also continuing to play for the youth team. The club said the extension reflects its policy of integrating and promoting homegrown players.
Cohen thanked the club after signing. “This vote of confidence in me is not taken for granted,” he said. “The confidence I get from the professional staff, together with the foundations I received during my years in the youth academy, make me feel at home and want to keep progressing. I thank the professional staff and the club management for their trust, and I cannot wait to start another season in blue.”
