Elai Almogies Set to Join Bnei Yehuda in Second Division
Israeli midfielder Elai Almogies, 26, is reportedly close to signing with Bnei Yehuda, a team in Israel's second division, Liga Leumit. Almogies previously played for Maccabi Bnei Raina last season. He was once considered a significant prospect in Israeli football, having spent the early part of his career in Europe with clubs like Hoffenheim, Den Haag, and Admira. During his time abroad, he also earned five caps for the Israeli national team.
Since returning to Israel in 2023, after leaving Maccabi Haifa's youth academy in 2015, Almogies has played for three Israeli clubs: Bnei Sakhnin, Ironi Tiberias, and Maccabi Bnei Raina. His move to Bnei Yehuda would mark his fourth club in Israel since his return.
