Nir Berdea Nears Deal to Join Bnei Yehuda in Israel's National League
Nir Berdea, a 30-year-old central defender, is close to finalizing a contract with Bnei Yehuda. Although Berdea is officially contracted to Hapoel Ramat Gan, the newly promoted club is unlikely to block his move. Berdea played a key role in helping Ramat Gan secure promotion last season, appearing in 36 matches, scoring four goals, and receiving six yellow cards. He has also represented Israel at the under-21 level with four caps. Despite his success with Ramat Gan, Berdea has opted to accept a more lucrative offer from Bnei Yehuda and will remain in the Israeli National League for the upcoming season.
