Bnei Yehuda Misses the Conditions, Who Will Play in the Premier League?
Bnei Yehuda won the ticket to the Women’s Basketball Premier League, but it is not expected to play there in the coming season.
The Orange beat A.S. Ramat Hasharon 0-2 in the National League playoff finals, but did not meet the financial threshold requirements of the league management and the budgetary control for the Premier League. So who will be promoted in their place?
The right to move up to the top division has passed to Ramat Hasharon, the National League runner-up. The club from the Sharon is working to meet the conditions, with the matter dependent on the budget it can receive from the municipality.
In a letter sent by the Premier League management to the National League teams in May, one of the conditions for exercising the right to promotion to the basketball Premier League was subject to full compliance with several conditions, including: "The minimum budget required to participate in the Premier League will be 2 million shekels."
If Ramat Hasharon fails to obtain the amount required by budgetary control, the ticket to the Premier League will pass to the team relegated from it this season, Hapoel Be'er Sheva Dimona, which finished in last place in its first ever season in the top division.
