Elay Almogies Set to Join Bnei Yehuda in Second Division
Israeli midfielder Elay Almogies, 26, is reportedly close to signing with Bnei Yehuda, a team in Israel's second division, Liga Leumit. Almogies played for Maccabi Bnei Raina last season.
Almogies was once considered a significant prospect in Israeli football. His early career included stints in Europe with Hoffenheim, Den Haag, and Admira, and he has made five appearances for the Israeli national team. He returned to Israel in 2023 after leaving Maccabi Haifa's youth academy in 2015.
Since his return, Almogies has played for Bnei Sakhnin, Ironi Tiberias, and Maccabi Bnei Raina. His potential move to Bnei Yehuda would mark his fourth club in Israel.
