Idan Nachmias Returns to Israel, Signs Three-Year Deal with Hapoel Be'er Sheva

Defender Idan Nachmias, 29, has signed a three-year contract with Israeli champions Hapoel Be'er Sheva, returning to play in Israel after one season with Bulgarian club Ludogorets. Nachmias joined Be'er Sheva before the registration deadline for the Europa League, making him eligible to play in the competition. Nachmias began his career at Kiryat Shmona before moving to Maccabi Tel Aviv, where he was a key player in two championship wins and earned 18 caps for the Israeli national team. He will now join Be'er Sheva's defensive lineup, which includes Itay Rotman, Miguel Vítor, and Djibril Diop. Last season, Nachmias made 27 appearances for Ludogorets across all competitions, becoming a regular starter towards the end of the season as the team finished third in the Bulgarian league. Nachmias will earn 250,000 euros per season with Be'er Sheva. "I am happy to start a new chapter in my career, and excited to do so with the national champions," Nachmias stated.
