Health Committee Chair Visits Special Needs Summer Camp
Member of Knesset (MK) Yonni Meshriki, chair of the Knesset Health Committee, conducted a special visit to a summer camp organized by the "Belev Echad" (One Heart) organization. The camp provides overnight stays and round-the-clock activities for dozens of special needs children, offering them a much-needed respite and their families a break.
During his visit, MK Meshriki toured the "Special Child Center," including accessible sleeping quarters, equipped kitchens providing tailored nutrition, activity halls, a rich play area, and controlled medication rooms. He was impressed by the high medical and logistical standards ensuring the children's safety and a positive experience.
Meshriki commended the dedicated volunteers and staff for their unwavering commitment, stating, "The light you spread and the love you give to each child are a model for all of Israeli society." He also praised the organization's year-round professional support and highlighted the continuous assistance provided by Shas party chairman, MK Aryeh Deri.
The leadership of "Belev Echad" thanked MK Meshriki for his long-standing partnership and ongoing support for the organization and the special needs children it serves.
