According to MDA paramedics Shalom Ben David, along with senior medics Matan Mizrahi and Yosef Arnebiov, they were told that a child had fallen from a height of several floors inside a stairwell. The medics also treated a woman at the scene who suffered an acute anxiety reaction because of the incident, and she was also taken to the hospital. Ben David said the team provided first aid and calmed her before evacuation.

About a week earlier, a toddler about two and a half years old was brought unconscious to MDA near Bartaa after falling down stairs and sustaining injuries.
