11-Year-Old Boy Falls Two Stories in Jerusalem, Sustains Moderate Injuries

An 11-year-old boy fell from a height of two stories in a residential building on Dvarim Chaim Street in Jerusalem on Tuesday evening. Emergency medical teams from United Hatzalah provided immediate assistance at the scene. The boy suffered injuries to his head and limbs and was reported to be in moderate condition. He was subsequently transported by Magen David Adom ambulance to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem for further treatment.

Paramedics Yaakov and Ze'ev Rotman, Moshe Schwartz, and Naftali Bernstein from United Hatzalah's elite unit described the incident, noting that the boy fell approximately three meters from a railing. They administered medical aid on-site before his evacuation to the hospital. The event is considered unusual and drew attention due to the severity of the fall and the boy's age.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fall to determine how the accident occurred and to prevent similar incidents in the future.
