AirBaltic Expands European Routes, Adds Tel Aviv Flights for Summer 2027

Latvian airline airBaltic has announced its flight schedule for the Summer 2027 season, which includes an expansion of services from Tel Aviv. Starting in late March 2027 and running through October, the airline will operate three flights per week between Tel Aviv and its hub in Riga, Latvia. These flights are scheduled for Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with early morning departures from Tel Aviv and late-night returns from Riga, offering convenient travel options.

In addition to the new Tel Aviv route, airBaltic is increasing flight frequencies to several popular European destinations from Riga. This includes up to 14 weekly flights to London Gatwick, and up to 12 weekly flights each to Paris and Vienna. Other cities like Barcelona, Rome, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Milan, Athens, Nice, Alicante, and Split will also see increased service.

The airline's expanded network for Summer 2027 will feature 57 direct destinations from Riga, alongside 8 from Vilnius and 13 from Tallinn. This extensive network aims to provide Israeli travelers with a wide array of choices, from major European cities to less common destinations such as Split, Tivat, Turku, Tbilisi, and Reykjavik. The updated schedule is designed to facilitate smoother connections through Riga for passengers traveling to various points across the network.

airBaltic, represented in Israel by Tal Aviation, is positioning its enhanced schedule to cater to diverse travel needs, including city breaks, summer vacations, and broader European tours. The airline's strategy focuses on offering a comprehensive range of travel possibilities for Israeli tourists seeking both familiar and novel European experiences.
