Israeli Radio Host Unleashes Scathing Attack on First Lady Over 7/10 Conspiracy Claims

Radio host and commentator Barak Ravid launched an unusually harsh verbal assault on Sara Netanyahu on his 103FM radio program, expressing deep contempt for her recent remarks about MK Yair Golan.

Ravid's tirade followed an interview given by the prime minister's wife to Channel 14, in which she alluded to conspiracy theories suggesting Golan, a former IDF general, had prior knowledge of the October 7th Hamas attack. Netanyahu questioned why Golan was in uniform and ready to travel south so early, despite evidence he responded to the attack within half an hour, donned a uniform, joined forces on the ground, and rescued civilians under fire.

"With her audacity, with her patheticness, she sits and gives grades and dismisses, I despise you from the bottom of my heart," Ravid declared on air. "I despise you for these things, I despise what you represent, I despise everything you have done to date in the State of Israel, and it is expressed in that interview."

Netanyahu's comments sparked widespread outrage. The Democratic Party called her remarks "a red line bordering on madness," and Golan's legal team sent a warning letter threatening a defamation lawsuit.

The controversy also prompted Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to address the issue, stating he does not believe there was any betrayal on October 7th and dismissing such claims as "nonsense."
