Channel 14 Host Slams Sara Netanyahu Over 'Conspiracy Theory' About MK Golan

Radio host Eyal Berkovich sharply criticized Sara Netanyahu on Tuesday, calling her statements about MK Yair Golan a "conspiracy theory" and "ugly petting zoo." Berkovich's remarks came during a broadcast on 103fm radio, following comments Netanyahu made the previous evening on Channel 14 regarding Golan's actions on October 7th.

Berkovich questioned why Netanyahu would "defame Yair Golan" and expressed frustration with the "excessive madness." He specifically referenced Netanyahu's assertion that Golan was prepared and in the combat zone very early on October 7th, implying he was ready before others, including the Prime Minister.

Co-host Erel Segal distanced himself from Berkovich's strong criticism, stating that Netanyahu's comments were "unnecessary" and "should not have been said." Segal acknowledged Golan's controversial past remarks about IDF soldiers killing "babies as a hobby," but emphasized Golan's participation in fighting on October 7th. Segal suggested Netanyahu might have a "long score to settle" with Golan, possibly related to a past incident at a barbershop.

Netanyahu's original comments, made during an interview on Channel 14, questioned Golan's timeline of arrival at the combat zone on October 7th, suggesting he was ready much earlier than others, including the Prime Minister.
