Dancing With The Stars Finale Draws Record Viewership

The finale of "Dancing With The Stars" on Israel's Channel 12 achieved a season high, captivating 513,000 viewers and securing an 18% rating. This viewership significantly outperformed competing prime-time programs.

The competition concluded with Amir Banai and dancer Romi Nof declared the winners. Noa Cohen and Eitan Krips secured second place, while Bar Brimer and Sana Sokol, along with Shiri Maimon and Rafael Fleishman, also reached the final round.

This finale success mirrors a trend observed throughout the latter part of the season, where "Dancing With The Stars" consistently widened its lead over other shows. Just the previous week, the program garnered 17.1% viewership with nearly half a million viewers, while "The Patriots" on Channel 14 held the second position.

In comparison, "The Voice" on Reshet 13 attracted only 146,000 viewers (5.7% rating), making "Dancing With The Stars" more than 3.5 times as popular. "The Patriots" was the second most-watched prime-time show with 197,000 viewers (7%). Other programs included "Exit Babekom" (4.6%), "Four Weddings" on Kan 11 (4.7%), and "When Will We Fall in Love?" (2.8%).

News broadcasts also saw varied performance, with Channel 12's news leading at 12.4% (354,000 viewers). Channel 13 news followed with 6.2% (171,000 viewers), and Channel 14 news with 5.6% (144,000 viewers). Kan 11 news reported 3% (94,000 viewers).

Late-night programming saw "Evening Good with Guy Pines" on Channel 12 lead with 8.6% (217,000 viewers), surpassing prime-time shows on competing channels. Other late-night shows included "Open with Shai" on Channel 14 (3.4%), "The Day That Was" on Reshet 13 (2.9%), "The Pipe's Collection" (2.5%), and Kan 11's "Night News" (1.9%).
