Israeli Concert Ticket Prices Rise 8% Amid Shifting Audience Habits

Concert ticket prices in Israel have increased by an average of 8% over the past year, according to an annual performance index from the entertainment platform muzi.co.il. The report, based on approximately 4 million searches on the platform, also revealed that 34% of concertgoers look for shows within the upcoming week, indicating a trend towards spontaneous attendance. Despite a 18% decrease in search volume attributed to periods of conflict and show cancellations, audience attendance quickly rebounded when performances resumed.

The Mediterranean genre remains the most popular, accounting for 39.7% of searches, followed by rock (22%) and pop (11.2%). Children's shows saw a significant 24.5% rise in interest. The NEXT performance topped the list of most popular shows and artists, followed by various singers and groups including Pa'ar Tasi, "The Sixth Goat," Osher Cohen, Odia, Omer Adam, and Shlomo Artzi. Notably, interest in shows by Ben Tzour and Mor Me'ir saw dramatic percentage increases compared to the previous year.

Geographically, the central region, particularly Tel Aviv, accounts for 54.2% of concert interest. Popular venues include Menora Mivtachim Arena, Caesarea Amphitheatre, Barby, Ramat Gan Stadium, and Tel Aviv Culture Hall. The demographic breakdown shows that 63% of those interested in concerts are women, and 58% are aged 45 and above.

Separately, a report from Media Forest on the most played Israeli songs and artists on radio stations for the Hebrew year 5786 (ending September 2026) placed Eyal Golan's "Science Fiction" as the most played song. Golan also led the list of most played artists, followed by Omer Adam and Pa'ar Tasi. Sarit Hadad was the most played female artist, and Idan Raichel's Project led the most played groups.
