Israel asked the United States to let it review the memorandum of understanding signed with Iran, but Washington refused, according to a report aired Monday evening by Yaron Abraham on Channel 12 News. Jerusalem wanted the full text of the agreement so it could examine provisions dealing with nuclear issues, sanctions, and security matters that directly affect Israel.
The U.S. administration has so far declined to hand over the document. The refusal increases uncertainty in Israel about the understandings reached between Washington and Tehran.
The report comes ahead of the signing ceremony expected on Friday.
