Car Dealer Denies Wrongdoing Amidst Customer Complaints

A law firm representing car dealership 'Yahav Car' has responded to recent reports detailing customer grievances, asserting that their client operates a lawful business with thousands of satisfied customers. The firm claims that attempts to portray the business negatively based on a few isolated incidents do not reflect reality.

Regarding a Toyota Yaris, the dealership states they were victims of fraud themselves, having purchased the vehicle from a dealer for approximately 45,000 shekels, including repairs. Upon learning the car was reported stolen, they proactively informed the police. The dealership claims the theft registration has since been removed, and the car is legally registered in their name, though they were instructed by police to seek a court order for its release. They also state they have not recovered their funds.

Concerning a Suzuki Vitara, the firm asserts the buyer inspected the vehicle at their own garage and found it satisfactory before purchase. The dealership denies altering the odometer, noting that no complaints were raised for about a year and a half.

As for a Seat Leon mentioned previously, the dealership states they repurchased the car for 53,000 shekels before the initial report was published, repaired all its defects, and it is now fully functional and legally for sale, refuting claims it is a total loss.

The firm explains the business's name change was a response to threats against the owner following a previous article that highlighted two reservists as alleged victims. They claim one of these reservists was not a customer, and the other was fully compensated before the article's publication. The dealership maintains they have acted legally and will defend their rights, accusing the current report of presenting a one-sided picture while ignoring official documents provided.
