Tel Aviv Man Investigated for Inciting Violence Against Knesset Members
Police in Tel Aviv have opened an investigation into a 27-year-old resident suspected of inciting violence against public officials. The probe was initiated following a social media comment made by the suspect in response to a post by Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana.
In his comment, the young man allegedly wrote, "All 64 should be put to death in every respect." The Israeli Police confirmed receiving a report about the social media post, which they believe contains statements inciting violence against elected officials.
Officers from the Tel Aviv South station quickly identified the suspect, a Tel Aviv resident, and summoned him for questioning. After his interrogation, he was released under restrictive conditions. The police stated that the investigation is ongoing.
