Police Arrest Tel Aviv Resident for Incitement Against Knesset Speaker Ohana
Israeli police have arrested a 27-year-old resident of Tel Aviv on suspicion of incitement against public officials. The arrest followed a post on the social media platform X, which stated that "all 64 should be put to death." This comment was made in response to a post shared by Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana.
Police stated that upon receiving the report, officers from the Tel Aviv South station launched an investigation to clarify the circumstances of the publication and to locate the suspect. The suspect was brought in for questioning at the station and subsequently released under restrictive conditions. The investigation is ongoing.
