Netanyahu Urges Respect for Diversity at School Year Opening

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Education Minister Yoav Kisch inaugurated the new school year at the "Darka" school named after Maxim Levi in Lod on Thursday. They were joined by Mayor Yair Revivo. Earlier, Netanyahu met with first-grade students in Ramla. The Prime Minister was accompanied to the school by Yarin, an 11th-grade student who overcame a social crisis. During his visit, Netanyahu spoke with students about the upcoming year, their goals, and the importance of accepting others. "Let your diversity shine forward," Netanyahu told the students. "I think we must respect the diversity of each and every person. That is most important. Everyone is different, every girl is different. I am not saying this as a slogan." He emphasized the importance of learning to use artificial intelligence tools, noting that software makes it easier. "You study Bible, mathematics, history, psychology, dance, art. Learn to use these tools, it is important," he stated. "And the second thing, learn what you love. Each of you has something special, something you love. Be good at it and you will find your place."

Netanyahu also addressed the issue of boycotts, stating, "The phenomenon of boycotts is a reprehensible thing."
