Netanyahu Opens School Year in Lod, Emphasizes Respect for Diversity and AI Skills

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, accompanied by Education Minister Yoav Kisch and Lod Mayor Yair Ravivo, attended the opening of the 2027 school year at the "Drora" school in Lod. Earlier, Netanyahu met with first-grade students in Ramla. At the Lod school, named after Maxim Levi, the Prime Minister walked with Yarin, an eleventh-grade student who had overcome a personal crisis.

During his address to the students, Netanyahu stressed the importance of respecting individual differences and condemned the phenomenon of boycotts as unacceptable. He encouraged students to embrace their uniqueness and learn to utilize artificial intelligence tools, highlighting their growing importance and accessibility.

"Let your differences shine forward," Netanyahu told the students. "I think we must respect the differences of each and every one. That is most important. Everyone is different, every woman is different. I am not saying this as a slogan. It is very important that you all first learn to use artificial intelligence tools. It is not difficult; today there are programs that make it easier."

He also urged students to pursue their passions and excel in subjects they love, stating that finding what makes them unique will help them find their place in the world. The Prime Minister discussed the upcoming academic year, students' goals, and the significance of accepting others.
