IDF Eliminates Two Hamas Operatives in Gaza
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on August 31 that two Hamas operatives were eliminated in the Gaza Strip. The individuals identified were Talal Mustafa Salah Badawi, commander of the security service unit for Hamas's Gaza brigade, and Mummu Said Muhammad Hawari, a Hamas operative. According to the IDF, both men were recently involved in preparing attacks against Israeli soldiers and civilians, and in restoring the organization's capabilities, thereby violating the ceasefire agreement.
The IDF stated that the strike was carried out to neutralize an immediate threat.
