IDF Eliminates Hamas Military Intelligence Commanders in Gaza
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on Monday the elimination of Talal Mustafa Saleh Badawi, a commander in Hamas's military security department within the Gaza City Brigade. Also killed in the strike was Mumu Said Muhammad Hawari, identified by the IDF as a Hamas operative.
According to the IDF spokesperson, Badawi and Hawari were recently involved in advancing terror plots against IDF forces and Israeli civilians. The IDF stated that the two were also working to restore Hamas's capabilities. The military asserted that their actions constituted a systematic violation of the ceasefire.
The strike was carried out to neutralize an immediate threat, the IDF reported. Southern Command forces are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to act to remove immediate threats.
