IDF Eliminates Hamas Nukhba Commander and Sniper in Northern Gaza Operation

Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) conducted a precise targeted killing operation on Wednesday in northern Gaza, eliminating two of Hamas's most dangerous operatives: Al-Hani Abd al-Hai Fahri Mazlum, commander of the Nukhba unit, and Hassan Zidan Hassan Deiri, a senior sniper in Hamas's military wing. Both militants were involved in orchestrating sophisticated terror attacks against IDF forces and Israeli civilians, violating the existing ceasefire agreement.

According to Israeli security sources, Mazlum coordinated extensive terror activities in northern Gaza, while Deiri served as an instructor and operator of terror cells, actively attempting to harm Israeli security forces. They exploited civilian infrastructure in Gaza as cover for their operations. Intelligence revealed that the two managed a complex weapons supply network for Hamas militants, including smuggling routes, storage points, and distribution cells, which continued functioning despite the ceasefire. This network reportedly armed dozens of militants in recent months.

The IDF Southern Command emphasized that the strikes were aimed at removing an immediate and tangible threat, stating the militants posed a direct danger to both Israeli soldiers and civilians. The operation is part of an ongoing series of targeted killings against Hamas operatives in Gaza, following recent eliminations of senior Hamas figures in Jenin and Khan Yunis. Israeli security forces remain prepared and committed to acting decisively against any attempts to disrupt security or violate the ceasefire along the border.

The Israeli defense establishment continues intensive efforts to dismantle terror infrastructures in Gaza and prevent Hamas from restoring its operational capabilities. Officials stressed that such operations will persist as long as threats to Israeli forces and citizens exist.
