IDF Eliminates Hamas Military Security Commander in Gaza City Strike
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced Wednesday that an airstrike carried out on Monday eliminated Talal Mustafa Saleh Badawi, identified as a commander in Hamas's military security apparatus within the Gaza City brigade. The IDF stated that the same strike also killed Mumo Said Muhammad Hawari, a Hamas operative.
According to the IDF, both individuals had recently been involved in advancing terror plans against IDF forces and Israeli civilians. The military further alleged that they were working to restore Hamas's capabilities, in violation of the ceasefire.
The IDF asserted that the strike was conducted to neutralize an immediate threat. The operation targeted the two men who, the army claimed, were actively engaged in terrorist activities and rebuilding Hamas's military infrastructure.
