Minister Dudi Amsalem Suffers Mild Cardiac Event, Returns Home After Treatment
The office of Minister Dudi Amsalem said Tuesday morning that he felt unwell on Sunday and suffered a mild cardiac event. He was taken immediately to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem for treatment.
According to the statement, the medical team treated him on site and he was discharged shortly afterward in good and stable condition. Since leaving the hospital, he has been resting at home.
Despite the brief hospitalization, Amsalem has continued running his ministry as usual. His office stressed that this was not a complicated medical condition and said he is recovering well.
Amsalem said, “I thank the medical team at Shaare Zedek for their dedicated and professional care, and everyone who asked about me and was concerned. I feel excellent, I have returned to full work, and I wish us all strong health and good news.”
