Shiri Maimon Eyes "Dancing with the Stars" Finale Second Place

Singer Shiri Maimon is heading into the "Dancing with the Stars" finale, over two decades after her memorable second-place finish in the "Kohav Nolad" singing competition. Maimon, 43, expressed a humorous desire to again secure second place, stating she would "steal all the attention from first place" and deliver a "speech of a lifetime." She acknowledged that reaching the final with her dance partner, Rafael Fleishman, is a significant achievement, especially considering the younger age of the other finalists. "I'm proud of myself, I don't need to prove anything to anyone," Maimon said, adding that she would accept any position from second to fourth place with pride, and would be shocked if she won, unlike in her "Kohav Nolad" days when she expected to win.

The competition is heating up as the four remaining couples prepare for their final performances. Actor Bar Brimer and his partner Sana Sokol are showcasing intense dedication, with Sokol joking about Brimer's "intimate relationship with the floor" due to their rigorous rehearsals. Brimer, however, dismissed any notion of being intimidated by Sokol.

Actress Noa Cohen and her partner Eitan Krips, who started the season with low scores, are also in the finals. Cohen noted they were not initially considered frontrunners but have steadily improved. Actor Amir Banai and his partner Romy Nof have also captured audience hearts, with Banai sharing that he has received protective charms like garlic and hamsas amidst the competition.
