Wolt Israel Appoints New Growth Lead, Better Supplements Launch
Wolt Israel has appointed Omri Shinfeld, currently deputy CEO of Wolt Israel, to lead the company's growth initiatives in the country. Shinfeld will spearhead expansion efforts, building on his previous work over the past year, including the development of the monthly subscription service Wolt+, strategic business partnerships, and reaching new customer segments.
In other business news, actress and presenter Rotem Sela officially launched her new dietary supplement brand, Better, last week. The venture, a collaboration with the Chemipeel group, represents an investment of approximately 8 million shekels. The launch coincided with Sela's 43rd birthday celebration and was attended by key figures including Yonatan Gal, co-owner of Chemipeel and co-founder of Better, alongside Super-Pharm executives like CEO Nitzan Lavie and Deputy CEO Danny Luzon.
Convenience stores in Israel are increasingly featuring coffee as a central offering. Alonit, a chain located at gas stations, is now offering iced coffee for just one shekel to customers who purchase 25 liters or more of fuel, a promotion running until October 4th. The campaign includes radio and digital advertisements featuring brand ambassador Ramzi (Amir Shurush).
Adidas Israel has appointed Leah Reiner as its new marketing vice president. Previously, Reiner served as the marketing vice president for Nestle Ice Cream, where she was instrumental in the successful "Crunch Pistachio" campaign. Additionally, Yigal Gorvitz has been appointed as the director of operations and business development for Teva in Israel, joining the company in January 2025. He previously held a role as vice president of strategy and partnerships for the "Tkuma" administration, focused on rebuilding the Gaza envelope region.
