Thailand to Halve Visa-Free Stay for Israeli Tourists to 30 Days
Thailand will reduce the visa-free stay period for Israeli tourists from 60 days to 30 days, a change that has been discussed in recent months. The new regulation is set to take effect on September 15. Travelers entering Thailand before this date will be permitted to stay according to the duration initially approved upon entry.
The updated regulations also apply to land border crossings. Under the new visa exemption policy, entry through land borders will be limited to twice per calendar year. Notably, citizens of Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia, and Singapore are exempt from this land border restriction, but Israelis are not included in this exemption.
