Tabarash Refuses Departure, Forcing Jerusalem's Hand

Beitar Jerusalem is struggling to resolve the situation with midfielder Ayilson Tabarash, who has rejected offers from within Israel and is unwilling to terminate his contract and become a free agent. Tabarash wishes to remain with the club unless he receives significant compensation for his current contract for the upcoming season. If the club decides to freeze Tabarash's registration, Beitar Jerusalem would be obligated to pay his full salary for the current season, or at least until January. Tabarash himself would prefer to stay with the team, but this is not the club's plan for him.

Regarding Alexis Sereno, his representatives contacted Independiente Medellín on Tuesday to advance negotiations, with a decision expected Wednesday on whether talks will resume or if Beitar will need to seek another foreign player. Another foreign player previously in discussions has decided not to come to Israel, rendering that option void.

Meanwhile, Nana Antwi is still dealing with a leg injury, though there is hope he will recover by Wednesday to participate in the final training session before the match against Hapoel Tel Aviv. The chances of Yarden Cohen playing are slim, and Almog Cohen will need to find solutions, particularly given the weak performance of Nevo Shddu against Maccabi Netanya.
