- Microsoft Office suite is free for Israeli students and educators.
- The offer is part of a Ministry of Education-Microsoft agreement.
- Users can install the software on up to five devices.
- Full versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams are included.
As the new school year commences, Israeli teachers, kindergarteners, and students are eligible to download Microsoft's advanced Office suite free of charge. This benefit is part of an agreement between the Ministry of Education and Microsoft.
To access the software, users must download it initially from a computer, not a smartphone. They need to visit a dedicated Ministry of Education website and log in using their Ministry credentials or by entering their national ID number and an authentication code sent to their mobile phone. After installation, they must re-enter their Ministry username and password to activate the license.
The free package includes full versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Teams, not limited browser-based versions. Each user can install Office on up to five devices, including laptops, desktops, tablets, and smartphones.
