Ajax Dominates Telstar 3-0 in Dutch League Match

Ajax secured a commanding 3-0 victory over Telstar in their fourth match of the Dutch league season on Sunday. Israeli midfielder Oscar Gloukh returned to Ajax's starting lineup for the away game, having previously appeared as a substitute in their Conference League playoff win.

Ajax, who had not played in the previous league round, now holds four points from two games, with a 2-0 away win against Zwolle and a 2-2 home draw against Heerenveen. Telstar had only played twice, accumulating three points. Historically, Telstar has struggled against Ajax, losing both encounters last season and not securing a win since April 1974.

Gloukh has scored four goals this season, all in the Conference League qualifiers against the same opponent. He was involved in a disallowed goal in the 44th minute, providing a pass that led to a goal that was ultimately ruled offside after a VAR review, denying him an assist.

Ajax opened the scoring in the 37th minute when Klaassen tapped in a corner kick. Goalkeeper Gerónimo Rulli made crucial saves throughout the match, denying Telstar multiple opportunities to equalize, including a one-on-one save in the 48th minute. The lead was extended in the 56th minute when Berghuis scored on a counter-attack initiated by Gloukh. The final goal came in the 60th minute after a midfield interception, with Brobbey scoring after receiving a pass from Berghuis.
