National Security Minister Ben-Gvir Visits Female Terrorist Wing, Cites Harsh Conditions

Israel's National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir visited the Damon Prison's security wing, where female terrorists affiliated with Islamic Jihad are held. Ben-Gvir released footage from the visit, during which he toured the wing and spoke with the inmates. His office stated that the women complained about the strict detention conditions and the removal of previously granted privileges.

Responding to their complaints about the lack of amenities, Ben-Gvir stated, "Our abductees didn't have shampoo, nor did they have conditions. I am proud that we have succeeded in reducing the conditions for terrorists to the absolute minimum. The summer camps in prisons are over." He emphasized that those who harm Israeli citizens will not receive preferential treatment and will only be given the minimum required by law.

This visit follows a similar incident in May, where Ben-Gvir toured Ashdod Port after the seizure of Palestinian Authority (PA) operatives. During that visit, he declared, "The summer camp is over. Those who act against the State of Israel will find a determined country, with Israel alive." He was seen waving an Israeli flag and addressing the detained individuals, calling them "terror supporters" and urging Prime Minister Netanyahu to keep them in terrorist prisons for an extended period. Footage from that event also showed a female operative shouting "Free Palestine" before being subdued by forces, to which Ben-Gvir responded, "Good job."
