Beitar Jerusalem will host Maccabi Netanya at Bloomfield Stadium on Saturday in their first Israeli Premier League match of the season. Jordan Shua remains not fully fit but will be included in the squad and may play only if necessary, as the team aims to have him ready for their next game against Hapoel Tel Aviv on Thursday. Shon Weismann is set to start in attack, marking his first league start in Israel in seven years after playing for five clubs across four leagues abroad. The attacking lineup will be completed by Omer Atzili and Junobusco Calu, with Tomer Yosefi preferred in midfield over Noam Motta alongside Daniel Vorko and Boris Ino. Yosefi has mostly come off the bench this season except for one Toto Cup match and will need to justify the trust placed in him by coach Almog Cohen, who is making his league coaching debut. Nebo Shado will continue in the starting eleven, replacing the injured Yarden Cohen. The expected lineup includes Miguel Silva in goal; Nana Antwi, Brian Carvalho, Luka Gadrani, and Nebo Shado in defense; Boris Ino, Daniel Vorko, and Tomer Yosefi in midfield; and Omer Atzili, Junobusco Calu, and Shon Weismann up front.
