Man in His 30s Fatally Shot in Central Jaffa Amid Related Violence

A man in his early 30s was fatally shot late Friday night on Jerusalem Boulevard in Jaffa. Emergency medical teams arrived at the scene and provided lifesaving treatment before rushing him to Wolfson Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

The shooting occurred alongside reports of a grenade being thrown and a vehicle set on fire elsewhere in the city. Large police forces from the Jaffa station and Tel Aviv district quickly responded, conducting extensive searches to locate suspects involved in these violent incidents.

Tel Aviv District Commander Chief Superintendent Haim Saragroff arrived at the scene and held a special situation assessment in light of the events. A Magen David Adom paramedic described the victim as unconscious, pulseless, and not breathing upon arrival, with severe penetrating injuries, and noted that despite prolonged resuscitation efforts, the man succumbed to his wounds.

The police continue to investigate the shooting and its possible connections to the grenade attack and arson, with no suspects publicly identified yet.
