Four-Year-Old Boy Severely Stung by Yellow Scorpion in Arad

A four-year-old boy was stung by a yellow scorpion in Arad on Thursday evening and is in serious condition. He was initially treated at a local clinic by Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedics and medics before being transferred to Soroka Medical Center. The boy was sedated and intubated due to severe respiratory distress and visible sting marks on his leg. MDA paramedics Idan Milman and Mahmoud Azbargha reported that the child was conscious upon their arrival but suffering acute breathing difficulties. They provided life-saving treatment including sedation and ventilation before transporting him to the hospital in critical condition.
