Sima Hasson Joins Zehut Party, Leading Opposition to Humanitarian Aid for Gaza

The Zehut party announced the addition of Sima Hasson, founder and chairwoman of the 'Mothers March' organization, to its ranks on Thursday. Hasson, a resident of Peduyim and mother of five, has been a prominent activist advocating for a tougher government stance on issues such as humanitarian aid to Gaza and the rules of engagement for Israeli soldiers.

Hasson established 'Mothers March' following the death of soldier Staff Sergeant Barel Hadaria Shmueli. Through her activism, she has pushed for changes in the IDF's rules of engagement, including ending restrictions on soldiers' use of force during combat, and has provided support to troops in the field.

Upon joining Zehut, Hasson expressed strong support for the party's policy of "conquest, expulsion, and settlement" as the only way to ensure Israel's security and future. She criticized the current leadership for being indecisive and apologetic, stating that Zehut offers a clear, bold, and uncompromising stance that prioritizes Israel as the nation-state of the Jewish people. Hasson emphasized her commitment to strengthening Israeli soldiers and their families and called for Israel to stop apologizing for its existence and right to self-defense. She described Zehut as the natural home for those demanding sovereignty, national pride, and true security.
