Hadar Mukhtar Appointed Head of Likud Youth Campaign After Primary Disqualification

Following her disqualification from the Likud primaries, 24-year-old Hadar Mukhtar has been appointed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as head of the youth campaign for the Likud party. Mukhtar, who holds a master's degree in computer science and is a graduate of the elite IDF Unit 8200, has been active as a youth opinion leader in recent years. The Likud spokesperson confirmed the appointment and praised her new role, which focuses on recruiting young supporters to strengthen the party's base among younger voters.

Mukhtar expressed her excitement on Instagram, saying she was "thrilled to the roof" and thanked Netanyahu for the responsibility entrusted to her. She also told C14 that she is proud to be part of the Likud campaign and emphasized her commitment to the right-wing bloc and to helping Netanyahu win the upcoming elections. Her appointment follows Netanyahu's decision not to shorten the mandatory service period required for her to run in the primaries, effectively blocking her from joining the Knesset list.

With this new position, Mukhtar is expected to leverage her influence among young voters to boost Likud's support. She has previously stated she has no intention of forming a separate party and is dedicated to advancing the right-wing agenda within Likud.
