Netanyahu Appoints Hadar Mukhtar as Head of Likud Youth Campaign After Primary Disqualification

Following her disqualification from the Likud primaries, Hadar Mukhtar has been appointed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as head of the youth division in the Likud campaign. Mukhtar, 24, holds a master's degree in computer science and is a graduate of the IDF's elite Unit 8200. She has been active in mobilizing young voters and building support within the party over the past two years.

Despite her efforts to secure a spot on the Likud Knesset list, Netanyahu decided not to shorten her military reserve service period, which prevented her from running in the primaries. Mukhtar expressed gratitude to Netanyahu for entrusting her with significant responsibility during these critical elections and reaffirmed her loyalty to Likud, dismissing rumors about joining Otzma Yehudit. Itamar Ben-Gvir, leader of Otzma Yehudit, reportedly advised her to gain more parliamentary experience before considering a future run with his party.

Mukhtar emphasized her commitment to the right-wing bloc and her intention to help Likud win the upcoming elections by focusing on recruiting young voters. Likud spokespersons welcomed her new role and wished her success in the campaign. Mukhtar stated she respects Netanyahu's decision and remains dedicated to the party's cause.
