Netanyahu Appoints Hadar Mukhtar as Head of Likud Youth Campaign Team

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has appointed Hadar Mukhtar as the head of the youth campaign team for the Likud party. This decision follows the party's refusal to grant Mukhtar a shortened military service exemption, which prevented her from running in the party primaries. Mukhtar, 24, holds a master's degree in computer science, is a graduate of the elite Unit 8200 in the Israel Defense Forces, and is recognized as an influential public figure. The Likud party stated that Mukhtar will significantly contribute to the campaign efforts.

This appointment is part of a series of recent campaign staffing changes within Likud. Neta Molcho was named the campaign spokesperson, and Minister Ze'ev Elkin was appointed as the head of the immigrants' campaign team. Elkin will be responsible for all campaign activities targeting the immigrant sector until the elections. Molcho, 27, a former IDF spokesperson and experienced campaign manager, previously served as the chief of staff and spokesperson for coalition chairman Ofir Katz for seven years and participated in the 2020 and 2022 campaigns.

These strategic appointments aim to strengthen Likud's campaign infrastructure ahead of upcoming elections, leveraging the expertise and public influence of young leaders and experienced political operatives within the party.
