Netanyahu Appoints Hadar Mukhtar as Head of Likud Youth Campaign Team

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has appointed Hadar Mukhtar as the head of the youth campaign team for the Likud party. This decision follows the party's refusal to approve Mukhtar's request for a shortened military service exemption, which prevented her from running in the party primaries. Mukhtar, 24, holds a master's degree in computer science, is a graduate of the IDF's elite Unit 8200, and is recognized as a public opinion leader. The Likud party stated that she will significantly contribute to the campaign.

This appointment is part of a series of recent campaign staffing announcements. Netta Molcho was named the campaign spokesperson; she is 27, a former IDF spokesperson, and previously served as chief of staff and spokesperson for coalition chairman Ofir Katz. Additionally, Minister Zeev Elkin was appointed as head of the Likud's immigrant sector campaign team and will be responsible for all activities related to the immigrant community until the elections. The party emphasized Elkin's role as a key member of the campaign management team.

These appointments reflect Likud's strategic preparations ahead of upcoming elections, aiming to strengthen its outreach to various voter segments, including youth and immigrants.
