Multiple Fatal and Severe Traffic Accidents Reported in Northern Israel

A pedestrian in his 30s was fatally struck by a vehicle on Highway 65 near Afula on Thursday. Magen David Adom (MDA) teams found the man unconscious with multiple severe injuries and pronounced him dead at the scene. Paramedics Nir Moskowitz and Yosef Yamin reported that the victim had apparently stopped on the roadside due to a technical issue before the collision.

Earlier the same day, a man in his 60s was killed after being hit by a truck in Tayibe, in the Sharon region. MDA paramedic Karam Araki described the victim as unconscious and suffering from multiple severe injuries, with death declared on site.

Additional serious incidents occurred overnight and earlier in the week. A motorcyclist in his 30s crashed on Route 4 near Hadera and was critically injured, receiving emergency treatment en route to the hospital. Around midnight, a man in his 60s was seriously hurt in a car rollover on Route 2 near Yakum interchange and was hospitalized in serious condition.

On the night between Monday and Tuesday, Fahmi Ziadat, about 30 years old from Muqeibila, died in a collision between his car and a truck on Route 675 near Nir Yafeh, south of Afula. Two other men in their 30s were also seriously injured in that crash and taken to Emek Medical Center. Despite medical efforts, Ziadat succumbed to his injuries.

These incidents highlight a series of severe and fatal traffic accidents in northern Israel within a short period, involving pedestrians, motorcyclists, and car occupants.
