Beitar Jerusalem Extends Luka Gadrani's Contract with Significant Pay Raise

Beitar Jerusalem CEO Kfir Edri has finalized a contract extension and salary upgrade for Georgian defender Luka Gadrani. Gadrani, who joined the club last summer from Kazakhstan's Altai for 100,000 euros, was initially signed for two more years at 250,000 euros per season. Recognizing his importance, the club offered him a new three-year deal with a salary increase to 380,000 euros annually, a roughly 50% raise. Beitar views Gadrani as a key player for both the present and future, prompting the long-term commitment.

Similarly, Colombian defender Brian Crabbe is expected to sign a new three-year contract with a substantial salary boost from 220,000 to 350,000 euros per season, an increase of about 60%. Meanwhile, Beitar continues negotiations with Medellín regarding 26-year-old midfielder Alexis Serna. Beitar's owner Barak Abramov is willing to pay 100,000 euros for Serna's loan, but Medellín demands 250,000 euros. There is also a gap in the purchase option price, with Beitar offering 500,000 euros and Medellín asking for 800,000 euros. Talks are ongoing to finalize the deal in the coming days.
