Event Hall in Caesarea Industrial Park Ordered to Cease Operations

The inspection, conducted on Monday evening, uncovered extensive evidence of pests, including rodent droppings and cockroaches, alongside mold, dirt, and soot throughout the premises. Inspectors also found critical food safety violations, such as raw and cooked meats stored together, knives used for beef cross-contaminating other foods, and improper refrigeration temperatures, with ground meat patties found at 14 degrees Celsius and thawed chicken breast at 18 degrees Celsius.

The closure order, which prohibits all activities and the movement of goods, is effective for up to 30 days and can be extended indefinitely by a court. The Israel Police has been instructed to enforce the order. The venue, which hosts between 200 and 750 guests for weddings and conferences, faces millions of shekels in potential financial losses and lawsuits from canceled events.
