Palestinian Arrested for Praising October 7 Massacre Ahead of Anniversary

The suspect, identified as a supporter of the terrorist organization Hamas, was apprehended in his home village west of Hebron in Judea and Samaria. The arrest was carried out by the Yehuda Arrow unit, in cooperation with the Yehuda Brigade and the Judea and Samaria Division, following intelligence monitoring that identified inflammatory social media posts.

According to the reports, the suspect published a video glorifying the October 7, 2023, attacks on social media on the morning of their third anniversary, Monday. The post was accompanied by a caption stating that the memory of the morning of October 7 would remain as long as there is a heartbeat, alongside a song containing lyrics about redemption and blood.

Following his arrest, the suspect was transferred to Hebron for interrogation and was subsequently imprisoned. The Israel Police stated that they will continue to act decisively to locate and prosecute anyone inciting or supporting terrorism online and elsewhere.
