Rabbis Hold Sukkot Gatherings Across Israel

Numerous Hasidic rebbes across Israel held "tishes" (gatherings) in their sukkahs to celebrate the Sukkot holiday. These events featured holiday songs, blessings, and sermons from the rebbes to their followers.

In Bnei Brak, the Rebbe of Mahnupka-Belz led a gathering in his large sukkah, where Hasidim sang holiday tunes and the Rebbe delivered religious discourse. The Rebbe of Temesvar also held his tish in Bnei Brak, with fifteen attendees each singing a chapter from Psalms.

Other notable gatherings included the Rebbes of Kozmir and Ozherov in Bnei Brak, who focused on songs of praise and discussed the significance of the holiday guests. In other Sukkot-related events, the Rebbe of Dushinsky led a procession down eight flights of stairs to visit a follower, refusing to use the elevator occupied by Arab workers. The Rebbe of Vizhnitz in Bnei Brak performed the ritual shaking of the Four Species in his private sukkah. The Rebbe of Lelov in Bnei Brak made kiddush and led dancing after the holiday.

Additionally, the Rebbe of Spinka-Kahanah marked the 50th anniversary of his grandfather's passing with a tish attended by other rebbes. The Rebbe of D'arg held his tish, featuring an art installation made by young Hasidim.
