Tel Aviv Woman Suspected of Hiding Millions in Rental Income Through Family-Owned Apartments

A Tel Aviv resident, identified as Tali Pertuk, is suspected of failing to report about 3 million shekels in rental income to the Tax Authority between 2018 and 2025. The alleged income came from several luxury apartments she owned, some registered in her name and others in the names of her two children.

According to the investigation, Pertuk owns five high-end apartments in Tel Aviv and Caesarea. Most were reportedly purchased with money transferred by her husband, who lives in London. The apartments were rented out to different tenants over the years, and the rental payments, totaling at least 3 million shekels, were deposited into bank accounts belonging to Pertuk Zahevi and her children.

Investigators say the income was never reported as required, and that the rents from each apartment were far above the legal tax-exemption threshold. The case was uncovered on Monday, and the Tax Authority says it is still examining the evidence collected so far.

Pertuk was questioned by the Tax Authority’s Lahav unit and later released under restrictive conditions by the Rishon LeZion Magistrate’s Court. The investigation remains ongoing.
