Tali Pratuk-Zahavi, the wife of sports agent Pini Zahavi, was detained on Monday for questioning by the Israel Tax Authority over suspicion that she concealed about NIS 3 million in rental income from luxury apartments in Caesarea and Tel Aviv.

The Rishon Lezion Magistrate’s Court later released her under restrictive conditions, including a personal guarantee of NIS 500,000. The detention request, filed by the Tax Authority’s Lahav 433 Yahalom unit, says Pratuk-Zahavi owns five apartments in Tel Aviv and Caesarea.

According to the suspicion, the apartments were largely bought with money from her husband, who lives most of the time in London. The properties are registered in her name and in the names of two of their children. Investigators believe that from 2018 to 2025, at least four of the apartments were rented to different tenants for at least NIS 3 million.

The income was not reported to the Tax Authority and was deposited into bank accounts belonging to Pratuk-Zahavi and her two children. The investigation also says each apartment was rented for far more than the legal exemption ceiling for residential rental income, which stands at NIS 5,654 a month.
