Wife of Football Agent Suspected of Hiding Rental Income of About NIS 3 Million
Tali Pratuk-Zahavi, the wife of player agent Pini Zahavi, is suspected of concealing rental income from apartments she owns, in an amount of at least about NIS 3 million. The case surfaced during an Israel Tax Authority enforcement campaign targeting landlords who do not report income from residential rentals.
According to the investigation, Pratuk-Zahavi owns five apartments in Tel Aviv and Caesarea. The properties were mainly financed by her husband, the high-profile agent Pini Zahavi, who lives most of the time in London. The apartments are registered in her name and in the names of her two children.
Investigators suspect that between 2018 and 2025 at least four of the apartments were rented to different tenants and generated at least NIS 3 million in income. That money was deposited into bank accounts belonging to Pratuk-Zahavi and her two children, but was not reported as required. Officials also say each of the rentals was priced well above the legal tax exemption threshold for residential rent.
During the investigation, Pratuk-Zahavi was detained and questioned by Yamam, the Tax Authority’s national investigative and crime unit. She was later released by the Rishon LeZion Magistrate’s Court under restrictive conditions. The investigation is continuing. She has not been charged or convicted, and remains presumed innocent.
